Picture the Bible sensed a need for an easy-to-prepare, easy-to-lead curiculum. "KidLit" fills that need. We've added contemporary children's literature that relates to the Bible story, and made the resource downloadable. Each lesson prints on a letter-sized sheet that is folded to make a 4-page resource.
Background biblical information and thought-provoking questions
make it easy to lead. And a creative art project rounds out the session.
We expanded the age levels by making the resource primarily for the leader, so it can be used with pre-readers (K-2), and we offer a few conversation-provoking questions that require more abstract thinking, extending the use of the curriculum to older students.
This kind of project is a collaboration between
the ideas and input of both creative writer and creative designer, both thinking out of the box and working together to create a useful resource.
